At a cost of five million and 230 thousand Afs – funded by the National Solidarity Program of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD/NSP) two uplift projects were recently completed in two villages of Injil district, Herat province.
These projects include the construction of a water supply network 12-km in length (along with excavation of a deep well and installation of metal reservoir with the capacity of 20 cubic meter water) and construction of a social center. Approximately, 770 rural households have gained access to many facilities upon the completion of these public utility projects.
